The 2021 edition of the FIVB Volleyball Boys’ U19 World Championship will take place at the Azadi Sport Complex in Tehran, Iran. The venue is the biggest sports complex in the country and regularly hosts a variety of sports including volleyball, football, basketball and swimming. It welcomed pool matches during the 2018 edition of the FIVB Volleyball Nations League and was a venue for FIVB Volleyball World League matches before that.

Tehran is the capital of Iran. Also its most populous city and a bustling commercial hub, the lively metropolis is dominated by the Alborz Mountains. Golestan Palace, the Grand Bazaar and the Azadi Tower are major landmarks and tourist attractions, alongside the city’s leading museums and pleasant gardens.
