After a busy opening week featuring 14 matches across just three days, the Big Ten Conference is ready for more, with another round to be played from Wednesday to Sunday.

Six matches will be broadcast live and on demand on Volleyball TV, including two without any territorial restrictions.

The first will reunite last year’s NCAA National Championship runners-up Nebraska and Rutgers on Friday, September 30, at 7.00 PM ET/11.00 PM UTC.

It will be the first conference road match for Nebraska, who defeated Michigan State 3-0 and Ohio State 3-2 at home last week. Outside hitter Madi Kubik was the team’s most productive player in the opening week, tallying 35 points across both matches.

Rutgers had a more complicated first week. Despite playing at home in New Jersey, the team fell to Michigan in three sets and to Michigan State in five. Middle blocker Tina Grkovic produced 26 points across both encounters.

On Sunday, October 2, a second match will see Iowa take on Minnesota. The encounter will begin at 1.00 PM ET/5.00 PM UTC.

Iowa had a difficult opening week, dropping their home matches to Ohio State (3-0) and Purdue (3-1). With 32 points scored in those two matches, however, middle blocker Amiya Jones provided a ray of light for the Hawkeyes in their first conference encounters of the season. She will be one of the players to look out when she leads the team at home this week.

Minnesota, on the other hand, had ups and downs in the opening week, falling to Purdue in straight sets on the road, but then returning home to upset national champions Wisconsin also in three sets. Outside hitter Taylor Landfair ended the week with 36 points to her name.
